Moneeza Usman Butt is a Partner in KPMG Pakistan and has the distinction of being the
first lady partner in the big four audit and advisory chartered accountant firms of Pakistan.
Moneeza is responsible for the control, supervision, and finalisation of audits of various
large local and multinational organisations, operating in diversified sectors. She is also
the Quality Performance Liaison Partner of KPMG Pakistan. She has been a speaker and
panellist at various conferences, seminars, TV & Radio shows including the BBC Radio
show Business Matters.
Moneeza was awarded as one of the 100 Miracle Women 2015 by Unilever, a Woman of
Inspiration 2016 by Ladies Fund, CA Woman of the year 2018 by Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), Business Excellence Award 2020 by Biz Today
International. She was included in the top 20 most influential Pakistani women on
LinkedIn in 2022 and awarded the most influential Finance Women Leader 2023 by
Berkeley Middle East UAE. In 2024 she has been awarded the “Best Woman Practitioner”
by South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Women Leadership Awards held in
Nepal. She is an elected member of the Southern Regional Committee (SRC) of the
Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. She serves her alma mater in various
other initiatives through its Women Committee and Best Corporate Reports Committee.
Moneeza acts as a mentor for accounting professionals through the ICAP mentorship
program. She is part of Indus Hospital Corporate Ambassador Program, a sponsor of ILM
Foundation-a NGO of KPMGians to fund education to deserving students, a member of
the Rotary Club Karachi and Management Association of Pakistan. She is part of Ladies
Fund, an organization that encourages female entrepreneurship initiatives, a member of
the working committee of Women for Board Allies which aims to facilitate women
representation in corporate boardrooms, part of Friends of Hunar Foundation engaged in
empowering the underprivileged and an active member of friends of Pink Ribbon Karachi,
an organization dedicated to creating breast cancer awareness.
